Robert De La Cerda

Robert De La Cerda, 75, of Bowling Green, died at 4:36 a.m., Thursday, January 29, 2026, at Toledo Promedica. He was born on October 3, 1950, in Bowling Green to the late Andres and Rachel (Torres) De La Cerda. Robert is survived by his sons: Steven De La Cerda of Williston, ND, Joseph (Jennifer) De La Cerda of Portage, OH, and Gabriel De La Cerda of Toledo; daughters: Jeanette Sweet of Decorah, IA and Esmeralda Lomeli of Leipsic; brother, Andrew De La Cerda of Leipsic; sisters: Rose Castillo of North Baltimore, Sylvia (Kevin) Beebe of O'Fallon, IL, and Linda Brown of North Baltimore; his aunt, Mary (Bob) Thompson; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Rachel Pacheco; and a son, Robert De La Cerda; and lifelong friend, Mickey Mull. Robert retired from Jeep and the U.A.W. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran who was stationed in Vietnam. In his free time, he enjoyed browsing at Goodwill, listening to The Beatles and oldies music, golfing with family and friends, and he never missed an episode of M.A.S.H. or Antiques Roadshow.All services will be private.
