Robert DeMatte Obituary
Rob was a retired maintenance supervisor for the State of New Jersey. He was a long and trusted employee of Scrapple Brothers Construction Co. of Hammonton. Rob was a lifelong blood donor and long-time supporter of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
Robert is survived by his wife, Joyce (nee Raymond); his father, David DeMatte and Rose Ellen of Venice, Fl. He was predeceased by his brother, David DeMatte, Jr. of Vineland. We all have a family we were born into; some are lucky enough to have a family they chose. Rob was one of those lucky people. The Sacco family of Hammonton - Joe, Donnie (deceased), Frankie, Danny, Anthony and all of your wonderful families (forever missing Anthony, Sr). Rob was always happy and ready to help and was a generous man. He had many friends and loved to travel, preferably on his bike. He was always with Anthony, Chazz, and Sammy. A great life lived by a great man. A celebration of Rob's life will be held in May. Arrangements have been entrusted to DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home, Vineland.
