Robert Logan Dingus Sr. CASTLEWOOD, Va. Robert Logan Dingus Sr., 70, died on Sept. 1, 2010, at his home. He was born in Scott County, Va., son of late Ernie and Liza Clark Dingus. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackie Dingus and Buster Dingus; and one sister, Nadine Castle. He attended Castlerun Church, Castlewood. He was free hearted to family and friends. He is survived by two sons, Robert Logan Dingus Jr. and wife, Robin of Chattanooga, Tenn., and Richard Charles Dingus and wife, Jeannie of Castlewood; two daughters, Robin and Eva; two sisters, Maxie Counts of Bristol and Hazel Robinette of Lebanon; three brothers, Bobby L. Dingus of Bristol, Wayland Dingus of Oklahoma, and Bernard Dingus of Bristol; three grandchildren, Caitlin Dingus and Sadie Jane Dingus, both of Castlewood, and Mandy; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Robert Logan Dingus Sr. will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home Chapel, Castlewood, with Rev. John Byrd and Rev. Arville Dingus officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, in Castlewood Funeral Home, Castlewood.
