Bob was a work colleague and a friend but above all, a brother in Christ. I will remember his sense of humor and his abundant goodness. For unknown reason, he was kind to me both at work and off. It is difficult to comprehend why such a good and vital man was taken from us so soon but he would agree that this mystery of life is not for us to unveil. Bob was a man of uncommon decency and compassion. I count it an honor and privilege to have known him this side of heaven.

Bob Douglas was a true professional who was respected by his peers. He was an honest level headed individual who could be trusted to do the right thing at the right time. Bob was one of the GOOD GUYS, he will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Bob. He was a great guy and hired me for a job in Dallas from Buffalo in 1997. The interview was a two hour conversation with Bob in his office about life and work. I had a loaded brisket baked potato for the first time at lunch at a hole in the wall place he knew in Irving. Of course he knew everyone in the place. Two days later I called to see if he finished interviews and he offered me the job. That conversation lasted 45 seconds but changed my career. I tell that story often and remember what a good soul Bob had. May the fond memories of him and his spirit bring you comfort in the days ahead. Rest in peace my friend!
