Robert Alvin Drumright

Robert Alvin Drumright, 85, of Nashville, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023. He was born in Nashville on June 17, 1938, to the late Rufus Dosson and Lovie Smith Drumright. Robert proudly served our country in the United States Marines. Following his service, he worked as an electrician. He enjoyed tinkering and building things. Robert liked to spend his time hunting, fishing, and camping and also coached football.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Ulene Drumright; second wife, Louise Drumright; and grandson, Lee Mundy.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Vicki (David) Mundy; son, Gary (Gigi) Drumright; grandchildren, Michael (Mandy) Mundy, Keri (Jeremy) Street, Corey (Jasmine) Drumright, and Casey Drumright; and great-grandchildren, Payton Mundy, Bryce Mundy, Lilly Street, Mattie Street, and Caroline Deal.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 4:00PM until 8:00PM at West Harpeth Funeral Home located at 6962 Charlotte Pike in Nashville. Additional visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, from 9:00AM until 10:00AM in the Chapel at West Harpeth. A Celebration of Robert's Life will begin at 10:00AM on Tuesday at West Harpeth with Brother Mike Shelton officiating. Following the Service, Robert will be laid to rest in the Woodlawn Memorial Park.
