Robert "Bob" J. Duritsky Jr., 76 of New Concord, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Kobacker House in Columbus.
Bob was born on March 31, 1948, in Cleveland. He is the son of the late Robert Sr. and Edna M. (Lewellynn) Duritsky. Bob honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was a skilled carpenter and passionate woodworker, finding joy in crafting everything from sturdy shelves to intricate trinkets like napkin holders. He was a life member of the VFW and Am Vets. Beyond his craftsmanship, his greatest happiness came from sharing meals and cherished moments with his family.
Bob is survived by his children, David and JoJo Umbles and Nicole and Frank Larrison; his grandchildren, Austin, Alec, and Justin; a life-long friend, Diana Howard; as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations in Bob's honor to be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
Visitations will be held from 2 PM to 3 PM on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord. A memorial service for Bob will be held at 3 PM following visitations. JoJo Umbles will officiate the service. Full Military Honors will be provided by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
