Michael Duritsky Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Andrew D. Ferguson Funeral Home & Crematories, Inc. - Uniontown on Jan. 9, 2026.
Michael T. Duritsky, Jr., age 28, of Addison, PA and formerly of Masontown, died suddenly on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born May 9, 1997 in Uniontown, son of Michael T. Duritsky, Sr. and Kathleen Stickovitch Duritsky both of Masontown. Michael is preceded in death by a grandfather, James Stickovitch and father-in-law, Rick Frazee, grandfather, Elmer Duritsky and aunt Kristin Stickovitch

In addition to his dedicated parents, left to cherish Michael's memory are his loving wife of three years (married 9/24/2022), Jenna Frazee Duritsky, his adoring daughter Ryleigh Duritsky both of Addison; grandmother, Carol Stickovitch of Masontown; grandmother Fern Duritsky; mother-in-law, Jamie Frazee of Addison; sister-in-law, Julee Frazee Enos of Addison; brother-in-law Ryan Frazee of Addison; grandparents-in-law, Stanley Fisher of Somerset and Judy Fisher of Addison; his race team members, Ron, Brandon, Mike, Randy, Chris, Josh, Jayden and Jonas; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and his best bubbas "Rocket".

Michael was a graduate of Albert Gallatin High School with the class of 2015 then went to school to be a machinist. He was the co-owner of Powerline Speedway in Masontown. Michaels' love of cars got him interested in racing. He has held the title of track champion for four years at three different tracks and seventy feature wins in the Crate division and two super late wins. His main focus became the Crate-late model division followed by success in Super-late model racing. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.

When Michael wasn't at the track with his family racing, he enjoyed spending time with his wife Jenna, and daughter Ryleigh, and furry companion/best friend, Rocket. They enjoyed hunting, hiking, and exercising together – doing as much as possible as a family.

He also was a part time mechanic at RW Frazee Trucking, LLC and worked with his dad at Mike's Auto Repair.

Michael was the most giving, compassionate, caring and kind person you had the pleasure to meet. His smile was contagious, and his heartwarming personality shined through. He helped anyone he could, and was always putting everyone else before himself. He was so intelligent. There wasn't a problem he couldn't fix – if he didn't know – he figured it out. He would find a way to smile through the frustrations that life threw at him and always said "we will figure it out". He impacted so many lives in his short time here on earth, and will always be remembered for his kind and heartwarming personality, the love for his family, and the legacy of racing that he will leave behind for his daughter to follow in her daddy's footsteps.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the ANDREW D. FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 80 Morgantown St., Uniontown, PA where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 14th from 2 until 7 PM. Viewing will continue on Thursday, January 15, 2026 in the Trinity United Presbyterian Church, corner of Fayette and Morgantown Sts, Uniontown, from 10 until 11 AM followed by a service celebrating Michael's life at 11 AM with Rev. Martin Stewart, Brother Dale Johnson and Pastor Dale Reddick as co-officiants. Interment will be in Thomas Cemetery, Markleysburg, PA.
