Robert had been employed for 40 years at G. E. Silicones in Waterford and now Momentive and retired in 2014. He was a veteran of the US Army and served in Vietnam and was a former member of the Waterford Rescue Squad.
An avid fisherman and NY Mets fan he enjoyed old Westerns with John Wayne and country music with Johnny Cash.
He is survived by his former spouse Karen St. John Durrick. He is the father of Nicole Durrick of Waterford and the late Lori Durrick. He is the brother of Mark Durrick of Arizona and Tracy Durrick of Latham.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday at 9:30 am at the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St., (Rte. 32), Waterford. Interment will follow at Waterford Rural Cemetery.
There will be no public viewing hours.
Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, 6010 County Farm Rd., Ballston Spa, NY 12020
