Robert Edwin Mefford, 71, of Windsor, Missouri, passed away early Friday morning, August 15, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born September 27, 1953, the son of Lee Edwin Mefford and Lucille (Parrack) Mefford. His parents preceded him in death along with a brother, Allen Lee Mefford.

Robert was a life-long resident of Windsor, living in the country most of his life and moving to town in later years. He was intelligent and loved electronics. He had a good sense of humor and inspired those around him. His five nephews were his world. He was truly God's angel on earth.

Survivors include two sisters, Sharon and Patty Mefford of the home, who were always by his side. He is also survived by an uncle and aunt, Herbert and Karen Mefford; a sister-in-law, Janice Brown; and 5 nephews, Jody Fergerson (Nancy), Paul Fergerson (Tammy), Robert Fergerson (Kenda), Dennis Mefford, and Wesley Mefford (Glenda); and by many great-nephews, great-nieces, and cousins.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 18, 2025, at the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor, with Pastor Gene Mankini officiating. Burial will be in the Laurel Oak Cemetery, Windsor. A memorial has been established for funeral expenses and contributions may be made in care of the Hadley Funeral Home, Windsor.
