Robert H. Ehlert

Robert H. Ehlert, 82, of Sheboygan, passed away at his home on Monday night, May 13, 2024, surrounded by his family.
Born March 6, 1942, in Sheboygan, Robert was a son of the late Henry and Hermina Kruger Ehlert. He attended Chicago area schools. On January 12, 1963, he was united in marriage to Susan M. Macintosh. She passed away on May 31, 2010.
Robert worked at the Vollrath Co. for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time outside gardening, especially growing tomatoes. He also loved going antiquing.
He is survived by his children, Laura Ehlert, Lisa Ehlert, and Kevin Ehlert, all of Sheboygan; three grandchildren, Leif Ehlert, Beth Derousha, and Bobbi (Jeremiah) Diedrich; fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way; his two brothers, Ronald (Mary) Ehlert and Roger Ehlert; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, Susan, he was preceded in death by his son, Scott Ehlert; and his brother, Richard Ehlert.
According to his wishes, there will be no services at this time.
The family would like to thank the many caretakers and nurses and staff of Allay Hospice for all of their loving care and support.
