I am saddened with Bobs passing although I haven't seen him for many years His influence has had a big impact on my life. He above all taught me a trade that has been my livelihood for 35 years . One of my frist encounter with him I was 19 and right out of high school Just starting out he said come over her honey (he called everybody honey)I want to show you somthing. But frist lets have a bowl of chili. He had a way of teaching that a guy fell comfortable. He also taged me with a nick name that has stayed with me me my hole life
Miss you Bob

Terribly saddened by this news. My condolences to the Ennesser family. I have tried top keep in touch with Bob with an annual phone call around Christmas but I didn't call this year and that will not be easy to forgive. I have known him since he started at Abbott and to say he was special is an understatement. I have so many memories of him from work, playing cards and stopping at the Legion for one. We even stopped and spent a weekend with him up north while in the area with my family. My kids still talk about how much he made them eat. God bless you Bob. Someone I will always remember. And know that your one liners are still being used. They just pop in my head now and then.

I met Bob when I was hired as an apprentice mold maker at Johnson Outboards back in 1970. He had a personality that drew you to him and always made work fun. He possessed a common sense ability and tireless work ethic that he passed on to all that he touched. I can speak for myself and many others that he was responsible for molding many young men into confident and capable machinists and mold makers. He was responsible for getting me hired at Abbott Labs when they started the new mold shop in 1980, which changed my life forever, I will always be grateful for having known Bob, as he had a profound influence on my life. Rest in peace, "NSR".
