Robert J. Erickson, 68, of Port St. Lucie, FL passed away peacefully at his home with his beloved family October 9, 2023.
Bob was born August 11, 1955 to Stanley and Patricia Erickson in Chicago, IL.
Affectionately known as “Boo Jay,” Bob married Lori Malinski in St. Lucie County on June 20, 2003. He worked for Florida Power and Light as the Supervisor of Mechanical Maintenance. Bob was also a proud member of the local Moose Lodge.
Bob enjoyed good food, good friends, good cigars, and good wine. He also enjoyed catching Nascar races and football games with a beer in hand. Bob was happiest on the back of his motorcycle or with his devoted family.
Bob will be dearly missed by his devoted wife Lori of Port St. Lucie, brothers Keith and Russel Erickson, children Julie and husband, Aaron Roe of Broward County and Jill Erickson of West Palm Beach, FL, grandchildren, Aaron Jr and wife Franceli, Wyatt and Ellie all of Broward County, Jasmine and Moana Frazer-Pellot, Ariel and Ana all of Port St. Lucie, step-children Stephanie and husband Edwin Pellot, Brandon Anderson, and Laura and husband Josh Weinman all of Port St. Lucie. He was preceded by parents, Patricia and Stanley Erickson and brother, Stanley “Sonny” Erickson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 3PM to 4PM with a memorial service to begin at 4PM at the Haisley Tribute Center 2041 SW Bayshore Blvd Port St. Lucie, FL 34984.
