Robert Mitchell Ewing was born on June 3, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois and was adopted by Wallace and Ernestine Ewing. He attended school in Chicago Unified School District, and gradated rom DaSable High Scholl with honors and merits.
Pastor loved to read and study the word of God. He taught Sunday School and Wednesday Night bible study. He loved when someone would ask a question because he would stay on the subject and made sure there was an understanding to any and every question.
He loved old school T.V. such as Gunsmoke, Mattlock, Texas Ranger to name a few. He also loved spending time with the family.
Pastor Ewing departed this life on Sunday, May 18, 2025 to join his beloved mother, father, sister (Linda Garrett) and son (Michael).
Pastor Ewing leaves to mourn his passing but to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Ruby Ewing (his precious jewel); daughters, Jerran Wilson and Tamara Gillespie; grandchildren, nine grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren.
He loved his assignment from God to Pastor the Second Bethel Baptist Church of Jacksonville, Florida where he served as the Pastor. He also leaves to mourn a host of family, other relatives and friends near and far.
