Robert Lewis Farmer
Robert (Bob) Lewis Farmer of East Point, Georgia, went on to be with the Lord, peacefully, with his family by his side on December 9, 2024 at the age of 76.
Bob was born in Paris, Tennessee to the late John C. and Geraldine Farmer.
Bob retired from the Federal Aviation Administration as an inspector. Prior to that, he was a founding member of Kiwi airlines. Bob was also a long term employee of Eastern Airlines, where he served as a VIP Concierge to many sports teams and celebrities.
Bob enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking, and was an aviation enthusiast.
Bob was a dedicated, hard working, loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Denise Farmer, His sons: Dana (Sherry) Farmer, Darryl (Sheryl) Farmer, and Christopher (Raycole) Farmer. Former wife Sandra Farmer. His Grandchildren: Justin (Lauren), Sarah, Brett, Ashlyn, Emma and Aubrey. Great grandchildren Ace and Jay
He is also survived by siblings Jim, Norma, Linda, Charles, and David. Along with many nieces and nephews.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents the late John C. and Geraldine Farmer, brothers Jerry and Bill Farmer, and dear friend the late Lanette (Granny) Suttles.
Services will be held as follows:
Friday December 13, 2024 the family will receive family and friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Thomas L. Scrogg's Funeral Home located at 6362 S. Lee Street, Morrow, GA 30260.
The Funeral Service will be officiated by the Reverend Jim Farmer (brother) and Reverend Todd Tibbitts on Saturday, December 14, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at the Richard C. Gresham Chapel on the campus of WoodWard Academy located at 1693 Rugby Avenue, College Park GA 30337.
With a graveside service immediately following at College Park Cemetery 1632 Virginia Avenue, College Park GA 30337.
The Farmer family would like to extend our most sincere thanks for the outpouring of support, thoughts, and prayers during this very difficult time.
