Robert George Ferencz Jr., age 54 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Saturday, August 2, 2025. Robert was born to Robert Sr. and Julia Ferencz in Toledo, Ohio, on November 5, 1970. He was a 1988 graduate of Waite High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Army and Air Force. Robert was the owner and operator of Amazon Roofing. He was the life of the party, and if he teased you, he liked you. Robert loved his parents and family and especially adored his grandchildren. He enjoyed traveling, Hungarian food, and animals; his dogs and birds were dear to his heart. Robert had a collection of Italian shoes and watches. He was known to be an expert at cooking the perfect steak, enjoying Jack Daniel's, and a nice cigar. Loving to watch sports, his favorite teams were the Steelers, Tigers, and Ohio State.
Robert is survived by his wife Melisa; children Sydney (Ian Snider) Ferencz, Sierra (Freddie) Clark, Hailey (Dominic DeLuca) Ferencz, Stephen Ferencz, and Aaron Ferencz; grandchildren Arianna and Frederick III; father Robert Ferencz Sr.; sister Eva Ferencz; and brother-in-law Joseph Moore. He was preceded in death by his mother Julia Ferencz and sister Suzanne Moore.
A visitation will be held at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S Wynn Rd. in Oregon, Ohio on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with military honors to follow.
