Robert E. Fetterhoff, 77, of Halifax, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2025 at his home with his wife of 55 years by his side.
Bob was born in Williamsport on Friday, October 3, 1947, a son of the late Harvey and Betty Houseknecht Fetterhoff.
Bob was the camp ranger for the Girl Scouts at Camp Small Valley for 27 years. He also served as a Jefferson Township Supervisor.
Born with a deep love for the outdoors, Bob was an avid hunter and fisherman, spending many hours by rivers and in mountains. His hunting camp was his sanctuary. As much as he loved the outdoors, his heart belonged to his family. He enjoyed camping and horseshoe tournaments, where he often came in first place. Taking his grandkids on golf cart rides was a joy for Bob. Whether sharing stories around a campfire, teaching loved ones to cast a line, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, Bob lived for those he held dear. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Bob was a dedicated fan of the New York Yankees and Washington Redskins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Audrey Folmar and granddaughter Lindsey Fetterhoff.
Surviving are his loving wife Vickie E. Reed Fetterhoff; his three children, Robert Fetterhoff Jr., and his wife Sheri, Halifax, Anthony Fetterhoff and his companion Lori, Elizabethville, and Paula Reed and her husband Michael, Elizabethville; five grandchildren, Kolbe, Bethany, Morgan, Abigail, and Logan; a great grandson, Leland; siblings, Janet Davis, Muncy, Beverly Crawford and her husband Robert, Turbotville, Evelyn Shipman, Montoursville, Harvey Fetterhoff Jr., Muncy, and LouAnn Simpson and her husband Jeff, Montoursville; numerous nieces and nephews.
