Robert Allen Fetz, 58, of English, Indiana died on February 22, 2025 at his residence. Robert was born on May 1, 1966 in Denver, Colorado to the late Chester Fetz and Ester G. (Hanover) Simpson.
He was a mechanic and was an Indiana National Guard Veteran. Robert was kind, funny, a bit goofy and loyal to a fault. He didn't have any children, but his dogs, Snowden, Lady, and Bandit were like his kids. He loved them all and was happiest when he could be with them.
He was an excellent mechanic and was always happy to help with advice diagnosing a problem and was always ready to roll up his sleeves and get his hands dirty to help fix a problem. He was full of ideas and dreams that would not come to fruition. He never gave up and never gave in to his medical issues and held on as long as God would allow. We will all continue to love, miss, and cherish our memories of him.
Robert was survived by his brothers, Edward Fetz, Brian Fetz, and Chester L. Fetz; a half sister, Janet Thompson and step sister, Francina Beasley; and nephews, Geoffrey Bolger and Chet Fetz; and a niece, Shelby Fetz Carter.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 1, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. EST at the Brown Funeral Home, 306 Spring Street, Milltown, Indiana 47145.
Interment will follow in the Union Chapel Cemetery near Grantsburg, Indiana.
