Robert Charley Fish, 84, of Siloam Springs, Arkansas passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at his home.
Robert was born December 22, 1940 in Wheeler, Texas to Ira and Sybil Fish. On May 1, 1970, he married the love of his life, Freda “Orene”. If you knew Robert, you knew a man who could talk to anyone and made friends wherever he went. He loved the outdoors and was happiest when he was camping, fishing, or guitar pickin’.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Orene; 6 children, Keith Fish (Tina) of Siloam Springs, AR, Tammie Murray (Gregg) of Cincinnati, AR, Jimmy Fish (Roslyn) of Des Allemands, LA, David Blankenship (Gail) of Colcord, OK, Earnest Blankenship (Anita) of Gentry, AR, and Earl Blankenship (Molly) of Sapulpa, OK, numerous grandchildren; and many other loved ones. He is preceded in death by a daughter, Marcia Alarcon.
The funeral service for Robert will be held 10:00AM on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. A visitation will take place prior to the service beginning at 9:30AM. Pastor Jim Beavers and Pastor Brad Greathouse will officiate the service. Burial will follow with Military Honors after the service at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Pallbearers will be Jason Blankenship, Brandon Blankenship, Casey Blankenship, Robby Alarcon, Bryan Fish, Kris Hundley and Gavin Fish.
