Robert “Bobby” Lee Forster, age 80 of Waverly, TN passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Bobby was born on August 1, 1942 in Old Hickory, TN to the late Ada Evelyn Freshour and William “Bill” Omer Forster, Jr. Bobby was a lifelong member of the McEwen Church of Christ. He was a former charter member of the Bassmaster Association. Bobby was an avid outdoorsman; no duck, deer or fish stood a chance around him. Bobby worked for and retired from the Metro Nashville Sheriff’s Department.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Pamela Forster of McEwen, TN; son, Anthony Forster (Jamie) of Nashville, TN; daughter-in-law, Angela Forster (Kevin); 6 grandchildren, Amanda McGee (Brandon), Tarah O’Neal (Mike), Matt Forster (Paytence), Trace Forster (Meghan), Morgan Underwood (Colton), and Becca Forster; 11 great grandchildren; brother, James Light; and beloved companion, Helen Bradley
Along with his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his wife, Martha Sue Forster and son, Kevin Forster. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023, at 2:00 PM, at McEwen Church Of Christ, 9704 Highway 70, McEwen, TN.
