Robert Warner Freeland
December 25, 1946 – July 14, 2024
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Warner Freeland on July 14, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on December 25, 1946, Robert lived a life full of love, generosity, and dedication to his family and community. He is fondly remembered for his avid love of golf and being solid fan of his Alma mater, West Virginia University, often attending home football games with his fraternity brothers from Lambda Chi Alpha.
Robert is survived by his beloved children, Amy Kennaugh and her husband Eric Kennaugh, Lori Vickers and her husband Tim Vickers; and his adored grandchildren, Mikayla, Jocelyn, and Kera Kennaugh, Caden, and Conor Vickers. He will also be deeply missed by his brothers and sisters, Bill Freeland, Carol Andrews (Terry), Dave Freeland (Andrea); and Rick and Lura Shaffer (his in-laws); friends, and all who knew him.
Friends and family may call on Sunday, July 21, 2024 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Hecker-Patron Funeral Home in Uniontown, OH. A service will follow. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Alzheimer’s Association in his memory.
Robert's legacy of kindness and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace.
