Robert Fruik Obituary

On October 6, 2022, Robert L. Fruik passed away into God's graces after a brief battle with lung cancer. A warrior throughout life, he was 83 years old.
Robert is survived by many loving individuals, sister: Noel Gilray; sons: Robert J. Fruik, Patrick M. Fruik, and Steven J. Fruik; daughter: Valarie K. Fruik; grandchildren: Sean Fruik, Thomas Fruik, Timothy W. Fruik, Tyler R. Fruik, and Rolley J. Berren; and great-grandchildren: Natalie, Bryson, and Logan Fruik.
Robert was preceded in death by his father: Leonard Fruik; his mother: Mary (Furlong) Fruik; and brothers: Gary and John Fruik.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at C.S. Mulder Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on October 13, 2022, at the Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church with Father Nick Thompson as celebrant.
Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery.

We're sorry to hear of Bob's passing. We'll miss seeing him at church when we come to the Soo! I graduated from Loretto with Bob. We were in touch mostly at reunions and often at Mass when visiting. We left in 1961 and have lived in Washington for 51 years.
