Robert Fylstra

Robert Fylstra, age 82, of Midland Park, suddenly passed away on March 12th, 2024. He was born on January 14th, 1942 and was raised in Totowa, New Jersey. Robert will be remembered for his passion for racing, bird-watching, and woodworking. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Fylstra of 57 years; brothers Hank and his wife Marcie and Nick and his wife Carol; children Cynthia and her husband Robert and Robert Jr. and his wife Karen; grandchildren Kyle and his wife Victoria, Krystal, Madison, Shelby, Hunter, and Caleb; and great-grandchildren Eleanor, McKayla, Kollins, and Oliver. He was a gentle kind soul who is certainly missed by all.
Robert's family will welcome visitors from 2-5pm on Sunday, March 24th, 2024 at the Vander Platt Funeral home at 257 Godwin Ave in Wyckoff, NJ. A service in celebration of Robert will begin at 11 am on Monday, March 25th.
