Robert Earl Gaylor

Robert Earl Gaylor, passed away peacefully in Selma, AL at the Lighthouse Rehabilitation and Health Care Center on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the age of 68.
He was born in Selma on March 4, 1954 to the late Douglas V. Gaylor and Mary Lee Smith Gaylor.
He was a former truck driver.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nancy Hicks Gaylor; his brothers, William (Jackie) Gaylor and Dannie (Patricia) Gaylor; brother-in-law, Lennie Gauthier; sister-in-law, Teresa Gaylor; sister-in-law, Patsy (Davy) McLean; brother-in-law, Don Phillips; brother-in-law, Glen Phillips; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Mary Lee Gaylor; sister, Mary Lane Gauthier; and most recently a brother, Tommy Gaylor.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at New Live Oak Cemetery in Selma with Rev. Donnie Shumate officiating.
The family will receive friends from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Selma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be family.
The Gaylor family would like to extend a sincere and heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Lighthouse Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Southern Care Hospice, and Vaughan Regional Medical Center for all of the kindness, care, and concern shown for Robert over the last few years.
