Robert Gendreau Obituary
Robert Gendreau Jr was born on May 1st, 1974, in Queens, NY to Robert Gendreau and Aline Gendreau He graduated from John Adams High School in 1992 and joined the Army, He married Erica Gendreau his first Love in 2000. They lived in Middletown, NY; Robert began working for Verizon as an MST in 1999. Over 30 years the couple welcomed 2 children into their home and Robert set about teaching them how to be patience, always to be polite and caring, survival skills and fight for what is right. They followed his footsteps Daughter Pamela joined the US Marine and son Jack joined his high school ROTC program and aspires to enlist in the military. His children remember him as a smart, funny father that had the answer to everything and was a lovely grandfather who had patience's beyond measure who always love a good practical joke.
Robert was accomplished at computer skills, gaming, handy man, family guy, jack of all trades, practical joker and would give you the shirt of his back. He was an individual who loved to be around his family and friends and who was passionate about making everyone happy and just living life.
A Viewing is scheduled for 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm on Friday August 23rd, 2024, at Macken Mortuary with a reception to follow in between 4:00pm-7:00pm at American Legion post 303, Nicole Vanterpool will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Robert's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Condolences can be sent to https://gofund.me/3edbb50a. The family would like to thank everyone for their love and support.
