Robert E. Gephart Obituary
Robert Eugene Gephart, age 76 years old, of Pottstown, Pa passed away on January 1, 2024, at his home from natural causes.
Bob is survived, by his beloved partner, Steven Marinace, a resident of NYC. Bob worked at Saint Gabriel's Hall, Audubon, Pa starting in 2002 and worked until retirement in 2015. In addition, Bob was employed as a Lutheran Pastor in Pearl River New York, worked with Campus Ministries at the University of Pennsylvania, served as a Youth Director at the First Lutheran Church in Jamestown, New York and served in many diverse roles with the Lutheran Community Services in New York.
Bob received a Master of Divinity at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, Pennsylvania an earned a B. A. in Economics from Lincoln University, and studied at Colgate University in their Canadian Studies Program, Hamilton, New York.
Bob was exceptionally thoughtful, and remembered for his kindness and would do anything for anyone at any time. He was a Master Gardner and Certified with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He will be missed.
A memorial service will be held for Robert (Bob) at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 19, 2024, at the St. Gabriels's Episcopal Church, 1188 Benjamin Franklin Hwy East, Douglasville, Pa 19518. Details of the date and time of the service will follow, soon.

I met Robert in Hollywood California in 1977.
We had dinners, swam, visited Disneyland, and became instant friends. It was not a long time but he was always reminding me - "I was an Anglican who loved Handel, and he was a Lutheran who loved Bach.
