Robert Wayne Goodrich

Robert Wayne Goodrich of Lubbock passed away on Friday, October 18, 2024, at the age of 66. He was born March 27, 1958, in Lubbock, to Billy and Mary (Tapp) Goodrich. Robert grew up in Lubbock where he attended Lubbock High School. 

Robert worked for Reese Automotive for many years before opening Roberts Auto Repair in 2018. He prided his slogan on “We fix what others cannot” which was true in all areas of his life. When not working, Robert spent years traveling to Roller Pigeon competitions and had great success. Robert married Nedra Scitern on June 4, 1988, in Lubbock, and were faithful members of Monterey Baptist Church.

Robert was preceded in death by his father, Billy Wayne Goodrich; mother, Mary Frank Henry and her husband Roy Henry; and sister, Terrye Waller. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nedra; children, Zackary Goodrich of Houston; James Goodrich and wife Micayla of Lubbock, and Heather Goodrich of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Tamberly Davis; and two grandchildren, Chloe Grace Goodrich and Macy Rae Goodrich.

A memorial service, to honor and celebrate the life of Robert, is scheduled for 2:00 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Monterey Baptist Church 3601 50th street, Lubbock.
