Robert Grant Obituary
He was a former firefighter for several departments including East Rockaway, West Carthage, Pamelia, Deferiet, Evans Mills, and Great Bend.
He is survived by his father, Clinton (Ruth) Grant, Plattsburgh; his siblings, Clinton Paul (Mary) Grant Jr., Watertown; Michael (Lori) Grant, East Meadow, NY; and a sister, Catherine Grant, Peru, NY. Along with his nieces and nephews, Paul & Derek, Sarah & Sammy, and many special cousins, aunts, uncles, and lifelong friends. Bob enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, playing cards, and puzzles with friends.
He was the most loving and caring brother; he loved his family gatherings and adored his fire & church family. He was a past member of the Cobra Drill Team. Thank you for always looking out for him & letting him be a part of the EMS and Fire community. The family would also like to thank all the doctors, nurses & caregivers who looked after Bob all through the years!
Services will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, a calling hour will be held from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home with a Graveside Service to follow and will be held at 2:30 PM in the Black River Cemetery.
"Because of his devotion to the fire service, Bob's last written wishes were to see more training for EMS/Fire Service along with a new training facility in Jefferson County."
