Robert W. Grassette

COLEBROOK – Robert W. Grassette, 69, of Colebrook, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, after many months of poor health.
He was born on Jan. 30, 1953, in Cambridge, Mass., a son to the late Orden C. and Wanda (Sleginski) Grassette. He grew up in Cambridge and the Leominster, Mass., area.
For many years, Bob worked as a foreman for a speaker manufacturer and later for a metal fabricator. He moved north to Colebrook in 1994. He loved to fish and hunt, was a motorcycle enthusiast, and will be remembered by his friends and family for his warped sense of humor and being a quiet man who very much loved being at home.
He is survived by his partner of the last 42 years, Joanne Hill of Colebrook, and her two sons, Shawn and Jeremy Hill of Massachusetts; and his seven step-grandchildren; and his oldest brother, Orden J. Grassette, Sr., of Tennessee. He is predeceased by a brother, Ronald, and a sister, Marcia.
