Robert L. Gray

Robert L. Gray, 84, of Montgomery, Ohio passed away on November 13, 2023. Robert was born one of 3 sons on June 12, 1939 to Carl and Josephine Gray in Pittsburgh, PA. He was pre-deceased by his wife of 40 years, Marie Gray. Robert and Marie leave behind 4 children, Steve Gray (wife, Carol), Sean Gray (wife, Terrie), Kimberlee Gray (wife Kara), and Cynthia Gray (partner, Jason Stargel), and three grandchildren, Scott Gray (deceased), Sean Raming and Leah Raming.
Robert Gray was a man of great character who has always welcomed new people into his life. He led of life of honesty, respect, hard work, and the desire to learn. If you were his friend or family member, you had someone strong by your side who would drop everything if you needed his help. Robert loved adventure. He traveled the world in his military service and career, and then returned with stories to share with his family. As a family man, Robert was dedicated to giving his wife and children a beautiful life. Robert was a devoted husband who took care of his wife until her last day. Always saddened by her loss, he lived on to see good times and do many wonderful things in his life. Robert watched his grandchildren grow into adulthood and welled with pride for all their accomplishments and adventures. Robert will always be remembered as a fine man, a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
A memorial Prayer Service will be held on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at 11:00 am – 12:00 pm, at Gilligan Funeral Home (8225 Montgomery Road, 45236), with a gathering to follow at DeSha's Restaurant (11320 Montgomery Road, 45249).
