Mr. Robert Borden "Bo" Gray, 81, of Borden County, Texas, passed away on Thursday, September 25, 2025, in Snyder, Texas. A funeral service will be held at 10 AM on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Trinity Methodist Church
in Snyder, Texas, with Reverend Derrell Patterson officiating. Burial will follow at Snyder Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
Mr. Gray was born on February 16, 1944, in Big Spring, Texas to Borden Carruthers and Gussie (Collett) Gray in. He was the Sr. Partner of Borden Gray Cattle Company and Gray Ranch (Est. 1906) in Borden County, TX. He ranched his entire life, beginning in his younger teenage years. Mr. Gray was also an assistant Scurry County Auditor and the Borden County Auditor for some 30 years. He loved his family and his many friends, his horses, especially the line of dun horses owned by Gray Ranch for more than 100 years, his cattle, and his Lord and Savior. He also loved a great rain, watching the Cowboy Channel, buying horses for his children Glen and Dana during their years on the junior rodeo circuit, and the livestock show circuit with his children and grand-children.
Mr. Gray was a former director of the Borden County Junior Livestock Association in the late 1970’s and the 1980’s, an organization that his late father, Borden Gray, Sr., and great-uncle Robert “Bobby” Eugene Gray, helped found in the early 1950’s.
Mr. Gray was also a member of the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association, and the Scurry Masonic Lodge 706 in Snyder, Texas.

Wife of 63 years: Dorothy Mayo Gray of Borden County, TX;
1 Daughter: Dana M. Gray of Lewisville, TX;
1 Son; Borden Glen Gray and wife Lisa of Borden County, TX;
1 Sister: Marie Gray Anderson of Amarillo, TX;
3 Grandchildren:
Hayley Gray of Lubbock, TX,
Katie Gray of Albuquerque, NM,
and Brooklyn Gray of San Angelo, TX, and
Numerous cousins, relatives, and extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Borden and Gussie Gray of Borden County, TX.
His paternal grandparents: Robert "Bob" and Aubrey (Ellison) Gray of Snyder, Texas, and
His maternal grandparents: Gus and Ruby Collett of Lubbock, Texas.
A visitation will be held from 4-5 PM, on Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.
