Mr Gregg was MY father in high school, and if it were not for the character, drive, persistence, empathy, all those things that he instilled in me I shudder to think where I might be today. Today I walk a certain walk that Mr Gregg taught me 36 years ago, and I have as much love for music (especially marching band) today as I did my freshman year. I'll always love you Mr Gregg, you were the best, and I know that you're watching over all of us today.

Mr. Gregg was my favorite teacher and the best band director ever. He always had a smile for everyone and gave the best hugs. He was much loved and will be greatly missed.

His passion. Mr. Gregg had enough passion about music and education to fill our entire marching band with it when he spoke to us from the band tower. He was an amazing man. I hope to have that same amount of passion in my future.
