Robert Graham Griffin

Robert Graham Griffin 10-30-36 to 12-26-25
Known to all by Graham, he was born in Southampton in 1936 to Alice Webb Griffin and Donald Griffin, joining older brother Donald. Graham graduated from Southampton High School and attended SUNY Canton. He later served in the army for 2 years. In 1959 he married Margaret "Peggy" Hildreth. He worked for Schwenks Dairy in Southampton and later Wm F McCoy Fuel Oil and Bus Company. Graham and Peggy had 2 daughters: Denise Griffin Maynard and Kathleen Griffin McCleland.
Graham was a long standing member of the Bridgehampton Fire Department and served the Bridgehampton community for more than 30 years. As an avid golfer, Graham was also a member of the Southampton Golf Club for most of his adult life, golfing year round until he was no longer able to do so. Graham loved to golf, hunt, fish, and spend time on the beach or boating with family and friends. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his wife Peggy who passed in 2017. Graham is survived by his daughter Denise Maynard and her husband Brian, and daughter Kathleen McCleland, her husband Sam and their children Avery Louise and Elijah Graham.
