Robert Henry "Bob" Groff, 84 of Valparaiso, passed away Tuesday, August 12, 2025. He was born April 12, 1941 in Hammond, Indiana the son of Robert and Elizabeth (Boos) Groff, Sr. Bob attended Bishop Noll and graduated from I.U. Northwest. He was a US Air Force Veteran and an accountant with Inland Steel. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, St. Paul Knights of Columbus, and St. Paul's Men Club. He also served on many ministries: usher, money counter and senior luncheon. On November 20, 1971 he married Joanne Razumich, who survives in Valparaiso. He is also survived by his sisters, Mary (William) Bodlak and Sue Gutierrez, a sister-in-law Elizabeth Groff, niece Katie Bodlak and nephews Liam Bodlak and Robert and Michael Gutierrez.. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother George Groff and a sister Beth Groff. Visitation will be held Monday, August 18, 2025, 4pm to 6 pm with a Wake Service at 5:30 pm, at Bartholomew Funeral Home, 102 Monroe St, Valparaiso, IN. Also Tuesday, August 19, 2025, 9 am until time of Mass at 10:00 am at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 W. Harrison Blvd, Valparaiso, IN. Burial will be in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana. Memorial Donations may be made to St. Agnes Adult Day Services or the Porter County Animal Shelter.
