Robert Guenette Obituary
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 4 at St. Geralds Catholic Church in Omaha.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday at Westlawn Hillcrest Funeral Home, with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. There will be a rosary at 7. Burial will be in the Westlawn Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Survivors include his mother, Rita Guenette of Ralston; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Michele and Dan Miller, twin sister, Carolyn McNew and Tammy and Phil Haight; nieces and nephews, Nick Miller, Alyssa Miller, James McNew, T.J. McNew and Joe Grothe; and many other family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Guenette; his grandparents; and beloved uncle Martin and wife, Bev Guenette.

Thank you for having a Memorial in Grand Island.
Bob will be missed by many of us. He was a vital part of our team when he was at Nebraska Truck Center. Bob was a really a gentle person and helped many in his life. I always enjoyed our visit when he stopped in.

I was completely shocked to hear the news yesterday. I have known Bob since the 7th grade. He was a great guy and like others have said, he was a gentle giant. One of the most laid back guys I have known. Bob will be sorely missed. He left us way too early!! R.I.P. Bob!!
