Robert Guthy Obituary
Robert was honored to have served in the United States Army. He retired from Scales Air Compressor Corporation after 43 years. He started as a mechanic and worked his way up to Plant Manager. He loved all things mechanical and liked working on cars while listening to 50's music. Robert was very proud of his sons and their families, whom he enjoyed playing cards with.
Left to cherish Roberts's memory is his wife, Kathleen M. Guthy; children, Robert William (Wendy) Guthy, Jr., Todd (Marypatricia) Guthy, Adam (Stephyne) Guthy; grandchildren, Katie-Ann Guthy, Kelly-Ann (Harley) Allison, Robert William Guthy, III, Matthew Guthy, Brian Guthy, Britini Guthy, and Hunter Guthy; great grandchildren, Zoey Allison, Carter Allison, Cooper Allison; and siblings, George Guthy, Ronald Guthy, and Linda Rhodes.
A private service will be held.
Burroughs Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Murrells Inlet (843.651.1440) is in charge of arrangements.
