Beloved husband of Carol Gutkowski nee Ziaja.
Loving father of Jennifer (Josh) and Brian (Renee).
Cherished grandfather of Dylan and Annabelle and fur babies Snickers, Eddie, Lucy, Lou, Squid, Link and Carl.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother Gertrude, father Bruno and brother Ronald.
Robert was a graduate of St. Celestine School, Holy Cross High School, and UIC (Circle Campus). He worked as a civil engineer for MWRDGC for thirty years. In his free time, Robert enjoyed many activities such as skiing, racquetball, bunco, square dancing and traveling. He was a fan of the Bears and Cubs, and usually spent game time yelling at the TV. Robert most enjoyed spending time with family and friends; many of whom he has known since his college days.
