Robert “Bobby” Edward Gwynn, 70 of Elon, North Carolina passed away Sunday December 1, 2024 with family and friends by his side.
Bobby was born September 14, 1954 to the late Thomas Edward Gwynn and Katherine Lashley Gwynn Bell. Bobby is survived by his sister, Brenda Gwynn Burns and her husband, Walter, of Wilmington, NC, as well as several cousins.
Bobby and the two generations before him were proud tobacco farmers in the Altamahaw region of Alamance County. He had lifelong friends who enjoyed hunting and fishing along with the fellowship at the Whitetail Hunting Club. Bobby was also passionate about his red golden retrievers Duke and Trapper that he’ll meet again “At The Rainbow Bridge”.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, December 5, 2024 at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery, 3003 Altamahaw Racetrack Rd, Elon, NC 27244 by Rev. Jacob Danieley.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the amazing people at the nonprofit “Stone Soup Menus” at www.stonesoupmenusinc.org.
