Robert Darrell Hardee

Robert Derrell Hardee, 66, of Phenix City, AL died at Piedmont Columbus, Midtown, Columbus, GA on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 with his family by his side.

The family will host a visitation at the home of his son, Robert from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Saturday, September 07, 2024 according to Vance Brooks Funeral Home, Phenix City, AL. 

Mr. Hardee was born October 31, 1957 in Screven, GA son of the late Joseph O. Hardee and Audrey Poppell Hardee. He was a proud U. S. Army retiree with 21 years of service to our country. Mr. Hardee was a family man who enjoyed time with his family as often as possible. In his younger days he loved to ride his motorcycle by himself or with his friends.

We are grateful to him for the heritage he has left us. He instilled in us God, Country and Family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Audrey Hardee; his wife, Regina Ford Hardee; and brothers, Charles E. Hardee and Jerome Hardee.

Survivors include his two sons, Robert A. Hardee (Brandy), Phenix City, AL and Patrick Hardee, Seale, AL; two sisters, Sharon Herrin (Ray) and Marlene Schultz; one brother, W.D. Hardee (Lois); two grandchildren, Brandon Hardee and Samantha Hardee; two great-grandchildren, Emily Hudy and Mason Hudy; several nieces, nephews and friends.
