Robert G. "Bob" Heitz Jr.

Robert G. "Bob" Heitz, Jr., age 74, of Andover and Boca Raton, FL, formerly a longtime resident of Winchester, passed away on September 13, 2025. He was the beloved husband for 52 years of Joann(O'Donnell) Heitz.
Born in Winchester, he was the son of the late Robert G. Heitz, Sr. and Bertha (Penney) Heitz. He was raised and educated in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School with the class of 1969. He earned his Associates Degree in Business Administration from Middlesex Community College and went on to own and operate Water Safety Services for many years.
In his spare time, he loved to golf. As a 40-year member of the Andover Country Club, Bob spent many enjoyable days on the course with his sons and met many golf buddies there.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Joann, and was the dear father of Joseph Heitz of Boca Raton and was the late Robert J. Heitz. He was the dear brother of Debra Pierzynski and her husband Robert of Lowell and the late Donna and Jayne. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and is further survived by his furry canine companions Barney and Tilly.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to gather for Visiting Hours at the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester, on Thursday, September 18, from 9:30-11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
