Robert E. Heltebridle Sr.

Robert E. Heltebridle, Sr., age 77, of Seven Valleys, passed away peacefully at his residence on August 12, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Shelva Jean Heltebridle who passed away on August 23, 2014; together they shared 49 years of marriage.

Robert was born in York, PA on August 19, 1947 and was the son of the late Joseph Heltebridle and Jean Doris (Knokey) Welsh. He was employed by ABF Freight for 25 years prior to his retirement. Robert loved spending time at his cabin in Potter County where he enjoyed hunting. He was also a lifetime member of the White Rose Motorcycle Club. Robert will be remembered as a loving family man who cherished the time he spent with his family.

Robert is survived by his daughters Jean D. Kopp and Bobby Jo Bevans; his son Robert E. Heltebridle, Jr. and wife Chrissy; his grandchildren Cotey Kopp and wife Andrea, Corey Kopp and wife Katie, Katelyn King and Zachary, Tyler Hildebrand and wife Taylor, and Dalton Hildebrand and wife Hailey; and his eight great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Joseph Heltebridle, Jr. and Mike Welsh; and his sisters Lynn Johnson, Debra Smith and husband Paul, and Kim Weidner and husband Bill. Robert was preceded in death by his brother Michael Heltebridle; and his son-in-law Randy Kopp.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service in celebration of Robert's life on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 10:00AM at Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, 250 Chestnut Hill Rd., York, PA 17402 with Pastor Scott Brown officiating.
