Reuben E. Glatfelter, III, age 54, of Dover, passed away peacefully at home on August 15, 2025. He was the loving husband of Kim (Faina) Glatfelter; they shared 13 years together, 4 of which they were married.

Reuben was born in York, PA on September 10, 1970 and was the son of Reuben E. Glatfelter, Jr. and Nancy L. (Winemiller) Glatfelter. He graduated from Spring Grove class of 1988. He worked for Hanover Foods for 36 years. Reuben was a devoted and loving father. He enjoyed taking his children to their hockey games. He was passionate about music and sports. He loved going to concerts and collecting albums, especially heavy metal, rock and eventually country. He was always watching the Steelers, Penguins, and Orioles. He enjoyed going on hikes and "waterfall chasing" with his wife. Reuben will be remembered as a family man, who cherished the time he spent with his loving family and friends. He was loved by everyone who met him and always had a joke or wise crack ready to go.

In addition to his loving wife Kim and parents, Reuben is survived by his children Nathan Glatfelter and partner Kate, Morgan Glatfelter, and Kaden Glatfelter and partner Alexis; his bonus daughter Lindsay Hahn; his father-in-law Charles Faina and wife Donna; his mother-in-law Faith Schroeder and husband John; his siblings Aaron Glatfelter, Lindsay (Glatfelter) Twyman and husband Taylon, and Brett Glatfelter; his sister-in-law Andrea Hahn and husband Bob; and three nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 1:00PM – 4:00PM at The Clubhouse at Ben Franklin Park, 1350 Woodberry Rd., York, PA 17408.
