Sinton – Robert John "Rob" Hernandez passed away peacefully March 21, 2025 with his loving family at his side. He was 47.
Rob was born October 26, 1977 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Eloisa (Sandoval) and Ernesto Hernandez. He was a resident of Sinton most of his life. Rob worked as a computer technician.
Preceding in death are his maternal grandparents: Manuel Piedad and Marcella Cantu Sandoval; paternal grandparents: Juan and Maria Hernandez; uncle: Manuel Piedad Sandoval, Jr; 2 cousins.
Survivors include his parents: Eloisa and Ernest Hernandez, Sr. from Sinton, Texas; children: Elena Alexis Barraza, Ariana Maribel Hernandez, Robert John Hernandez, Jr., Logan Renee Daniel Hernandez; siblings: Sonya Renee Hernandez, Ernest Hernandez, Jr. (Laynee), Jose Alfredo Hernandez (Kimberly); nephews: Ernest Hernandez, III., Ayden Chandler Hernandez, Draven Anthony Hernandez, Atreyu Marcel Hernandez, Phoenix Manuel Hernandez, Noah Alexander Wolf, Dominic Cidro Hernandez, Mason Owen Ashley, Lincoln Avery Ashley, Julius Alexander "JAG" Garcia; and numerous extended uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel, Sinton. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held the same evening, 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The Recitation of the Holy Rosary will also be recited Saturday, April 5, 2025, 10:00 AM, with Funeral Mass to follow at Sacred Heart Church, Sinton.
