Robert "Bob" A. Hewitt, 81, of Pocono Lake, passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at St. Luke's Hospital Monroe. Born in Phoenixville, he was the son of the late John Erwin and Gladys Laverne (Woodward) Hewitt. Bob was the beloved husband of Danielle Jean (Miller) Hewitt with whom he celebrated 51 years of marriage this November. Bob was a dedicated dairy farmer whom owned and operated Hewitt Farms. He was a member of the Chester County Holstein Club, Pennsylvania Dairy Herd Improvement Association, Land O Lakes Dairy Cooperative, Agway, Inc and the Pennsylvania Farm Bureau. Above all, Bob was a caring husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors: In addition to his wife, Danielle, Bob will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Amy Matusheski and her husband Nathan, Jody Kull and her husband Mike and Vicky Puckett and her husband Tyler and grandchildren, Haley, Luke, Gunther, Jacob, Riley, Ella, Aiden and Edy.
Services: A funeral service will take place at 12 noon on Friday, December 27, 2024 in the Salem United Church of Christ, 108 Church Street, Pocono Pines, PA 18350 where a viewing will take place from 11:00a.m. until the time of service. A graveside service will take place at 11:00a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at the Brownback's United Church of Christ Cemetery, 640 Ridge Rd, Spring City, PA 19475.
