Bob is survived by his wife of 30 years, Margaret, daughter Stephanie Higgins, son Christopher Higgins, stepdaughter Dana Harry (Heath), sister Sally Schuyler (Jim) and grandchildren Giorgia, Christian, Aiden, Blake, and Beck. Bob was also part of a large extended family and will be deeply missed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert, and Viola Higgins (Smith).
Bob grew up in Wilmington, Delaware and retired from Delmarva Power after 36 years. He and Margaret enjoyed life at the beach. Bob was a ski instructor, avid golfer, gardener, and cook and loved spending time with friends and family.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, June 5th 2024 at 3:00 PM at Parsell Funeral Homes Atkins~Lodge Chapel, 16961 Kings Highway, Lewes, Delaware 19958 where friends and family are welcome from 2:00PM - 3:00PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Alzheimer foundation at www.alzfdn.org
