Robert Lloyd Hill, 63, sped out of this life and tumbled into the next, on February 15, 2026, four days before his 64th birthday. He was born on February 19, 1965 to Johanna G. (Taylor) and Lloyd K. Hill in
Salt Lake City, Utah.Bobby grew up in Salt Lake City, as the first son and third child of four.
Robert lived all of his life in Utah. He married Tonya Simons and they shared the past 35 years together raising their children, Daren and Page. Robert spent these years dedicated to his family and his work. Most of those years were spent working at the USCF. He was a protector in many ways and his daughter's hero. He fulfilled his call to duty, by re-enlisting in the army during Desert Storm, and serving overseas in the gulf war. He would have given the shirt off of his back to help another. In the capacity of his job, he kept in mind that others were still human and deserved to be treated fairly.
Uncle Robert loved to kid around with his nieces and nephews. His quirky personality would bring laughter to all of those that he loved. He loved his dogs and had many German shepherds, as pets throughout the years. He was often frying the fish he caught, for them. Robert doted on his daughter and son. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and boating. Their favorite vacation destinations were Disneyland, Hawaii, and Yellowstone National Park. He was looking forward to retirement and being able to enjoy life on the road, while discovering new places with his wife, Tonya.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, Lloyd K. Hill. Survived by his mother, Johanna Taylor, wife, Tonya Hill, son, Daren (Karissa) Larsen, daughter, Page Hill, sisters, Janice Meredith and Joy (Courtney) Ogilvie, and brother Tom/Thomas Hill.
A Hawaiian themed 'Celebration of Life' will be announced and held at a later date for those who knew him.
'A hui hou' (ah-hoo-wee-ho), "until we meet again", Robert, we will miss you dearly.
