Bob was a beloved husband to his high school sweetheart Theresa for 44 years and together they gave life to 5 sons and 2 daughters and were blessed with 15 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Leo, mother Wanda, daughters Stephanie Lenée and Elizabeth Ann. Those left to carry on his legacy are his loving wife Theresa, sons Ryan (Krystal), Justin (Heather), Jacob (Rebekah), Ian (Brooke), Caleb (Krystal), son-in-law Brandon, 15 grandchildren and sweet pup Callie Jo. Also, survived by sisters Karen Cole (Mike), Tammy Towell (Phil), brother Don Hoen (Betty) and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive loved ones for an open visitation on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 12pm-7pm at Coyle Funeral Home, 1770 S. Reynolds Road, Toledo, OH 43614 and for a Celebration of Life which will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 2pm-5pm at Hoen's Garden Center, 1710 Perrysburg-Holland Road, Holland, OH 43528. If you plan to attend the Celebration of Life, please RSVP to [email protected] by Monday, January 15, 2024 so the family can plan accordingly.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Robert Hoen to Universal Hope Foundation

The SAME Café Toledo family is deeply grateful for the ways in which Bob channeled his life's energy and the bounty of his family's land to those in our community who lack access to healthy food. Our hearts go out to the entire Hoen family and all those who will miss him so much.
