I sit in my living room, stunned that I just found out that Robert has passed. I met Robert in a courtroom on Long Island several years earlier. A Genealogy company had contacted me that a long-lost Uncle had died, and they were looking for heirs. It was at this hearing in Probate Court that I found out Robert and I are cousins. After court, we had a long lunch trying to piece together our lineage. It was a great time, and we said our goodbyes. We wrote letters to each other, however, the past two years were a challenge with my wife facing several major medical problems, and we lost contact. Robert was so happy, as was I, to find we had a family. This news is a shock and I need to reflect on our meeting and letters. Farewell, Cousin, it was a pleasure to meet you. Prayer sent for you.

It's been a little over a year since Bob died, during which time I have often wished to talk and visit with him, but then would stop and realize that he was no longer here in this world, though I'm sure in the afterlife. I am glad to have had his friendship during the time he lived here. A good guy! Completely sincere.

Bob played the organ at our wedding. I am sorry I will not see him again in this life, but expect to in the next.

I and my wife, Ruth, escaped to Florida for half years 8 years ago. We remember Bob and I liked him.

Bob was a great friend and colleague! I shared an office and more than a few lunches with him for many years. How sad that he is gone. What a kind, gentle soul! I can't imagine Edinboro without him, but heaven's angels will be glad that he is back among them.

I'm very sorry to hear about the passing of Dr. Holderer. I had him as a student at Edinboro and I remember he was a good, kind professor.
