He was a retired veteran of the United States Air Force.
Robert is survived by his sons and spouses: Bobby and Vicki Holt, Gregg and Kim Holt, Timmy and Patti Holt, Robert and Julia Holt; grandchildren: Lacey Boyd, Brandy Holt, Ambre Layton, Becca Johnston, Zachery Holt, Luke Holt, Henry Holt, Kristi Henry, and Robin Griffith; great-grandchildren: Caleb Holt, Judson Smith, McKenzie Boyd, and Emma Boyd; brother and sister-in-law, James and Ginger Holt; and sister, Marilyn Young.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ruby Holt; grandson, Chase Holt; and brother, Willie D. Holt.
A service will be held at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Chapel on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at 3:00 PM with a visitation starting at 2:00 PM. A burial to follow at DeShields Cemetery.
