Mr. Robert Kenneth Hudlow, age 72, of Marietta, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025. Funeral Services will be held at 2pm on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at West Cobb Funeral Home and Crematory in Marietta with Dr. Richard Walker officiating. Burial with military honors will be held at Kennesaw Memorial Park.
Born in Atlanta, Mr. Hudlow grew up in Cobb County, then spent over 30 years in West Virginia before moving back to Marietta in 2021. After graduating from Osborne High School, he played football and served in the ROTC at Presbyterian College. Afterwards, he joined the United States Army, where he served in Panama and South Korea. He loved watching the Georgia Bulldogs, the Pittsburgh Steelers, and the Thundering Herd of Marshall University. Mr. Hudlow also enjoyed attending church, reading and studying history, and hunting and hiking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Mildred Hudlow of Marietta, GA, a sister, Donna Jean Hudlow, and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his son, David (Amanda) Hudlow, Marietta, GA, an aunt, Joy Earwood, Stone Mountain, GA, and numerous cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation or to the Wounded Warrior Project. The family will receive friends from 12pm until 2pm prior to the service on Tuesday, March 18th at the funeral home.
