Robert Huff Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Tom M. Wages Funeral Service - Lawrenceville on Oct. 1, 2025.
Robert Joseph "Joe" Huff, age 76 of Auburn, GA passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025. He is survived by his loving wife Robyn Bathe Huff; brother, Russell Dana Huff and wife Vivian Marlow Huff; Sister, Nina Huff Flaherty and husband Michael Patrick Flaherty Stepbrother; Robert Christian Lake and wife Pamela Lake. He was preceded in death by his father,, Russell Jackson Huff and mother, Leila Baldwin Huff Lake
Joe grew up in DeKalb County, Georgia, where he was a member of Peachtree Baptist Church. He graduated from Briarcliff High School and studied at both Georgia Southern University and Georgia State University. Joe married his high school sweetheart, Robyn Bathke, to whom he was married for fifty-five years. They shared a passion for animals, breeding and raising Yorkshire Terriers for many years. At one time they had at least thirty of them. Joe's favorite pet was his Macaw, JoJo, even though the bird liked to bite him on the nose. In addition to his passion for animals, Joe loved Mustang automobiles. Joe always loved and worked in the automotive field. He was employed by BP Oil, NAPA Auto Parts, Genuine Parts, and Johnson Industries. He was a collector of classic and new Mustangs and was a member of the NE Georgia Mustang Club, where he showed his Mustangs. You could often find Joe in his barn, working on Mustangs in different stages of repair. Joe was also a member of Snellville Masonic Lodge #99.
Joe is remembered by so many family members and friends for his infectious smile and friendly nature. He touched many lives and will be sorely missed. Our solace is knowing he is no longer suffering and at home in Heaven.
A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Joe will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 2:00PM at Tom M. Wages Lawrenceville Chapel. The family will receive friends on Saturday September 20th from 1:00PM until the time of service at 2:00PM.
